Azores Shade-Grown Orange Pekoe is a unique tea with an equally complex taste; a light and smooth start with a brisk full finish.
Grown in shade at the highest point of the mountain where it is only picked at the foggiest time of the year between late June and early July. These unique conditions have produced a wonderful and complex premium black tea which is unlike any other we have tried before. It is certainly not to be missed.
We are proud to source all our teas from The Azores direct from Gorreana Tea Estate, famed for being Europe's oldest tea estate having been setup in 1883. Gorreana Tea Estate are dedicated to producing premium quality loose leaf tea without the use of any pesticides or chemicals.
