Shipping & Returns
We ship to all countries in the world and welcome all international orders. Our postage rates are as follows:
All UK orders above £25 qualify for free shipping.
All international orders above £36 (approximately $49 / €41) qualify for free shipping.
£3 flat rate shipping for all UK orders which are less than £25 in total
£4.40 (approximately $6.00 / €5) for all international orders which do not qualify for free shipping.
All orders are sent without tracking unless you paid for it by adding international tracking to your cart.
As part of the paid upgrade to tracking, you also get expedited shipping with DHL to anywhere in the world, typically within 2 working days. Details here
All orders received from the UK will be sent via Royal Mail. Expect to receive within 2-4 working days of placing the order.
All International orders will be sent using Royal Mail's priority international service, the fastest available option.
International Delivery Speed:
Deliveries within the EU typically arrive within 1-2 weeks of despatch but can take up to 4 weeks.
Deliveries outside the EU typically arrive within 1-3 weeks of despatch but can take up to 4-6 weeks and possibly longer due to potential customs delays.
Royal Mail maintain a list of all the worldwide ongoing postal incidents which may result in a delay to your parcel.
Otherwise delays are often caused by the parcel being held up by customs which can cause delays of up to 10 weeks on occasion.
Country Specific Issues:
Canada: Experiencing long delays to Canada Post struggling to cope with high volumes, highly recommended for Canadian customers to use our expedited service.
Brazil: Due to a high percentage of parcels to Brazil going missing, deliveries can only be sent at the buyer's risk
India: Indian customs regulations means we cannot send tea and all orders for delivery to India will be cancelled
Saudi Arabia: Saudi Arabian customs regulations means we cannot send tea and all orders for delivery to Saudi Arabia will be cancelled
Chile: All recent parcels haven't been delivered within 2-3 months of sending, so no new orders from Chile will be accepted until the issue is resolved
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
