China Shandong Laoshan Green Tea

China

Weight

A splendid green tea with a toasted corn aroma, with a smooth taste of green beans and lightly toasted corn, reminiscent more of Korean green teas than Chinese.

2020 update: We have had to switch to a different source of Laoshan tea due to difficulties in getting it from our original source, however the new source is a bit cheaper while maintaining the same quality.

Tea from Laoshan is gaining very rapidly in reputation due to it's unique characteristics gained as a result of being grown at a higher latitude than any other tea within China. The high latitude makes it all the more difficult for the tea plants to grow which gives the tea a full and complex taste which is typically only found from high elevation teas which undergo similar strains.
