Unfortunately we could not get out usual Gyokuro from Obubu this year but this one makes for a worthy alternative, possessing a smooth thick texture with a brilliant umami taste combined with a gentle sweetness.
Obubu's higest grades of sencha produced by shading the tea plants for three weeks prior to picking the tea leaves.
