I'm excited to offer another special hand-rolled black tea from Sri Lanka which combines fantastic social commitment with a great taste! Possessing a wonderful smooth taste with a spicy finish coupled with a gentle briskness.
A Sri Lankan tea which I'm truly honoured to be the very first vendor of! The SereneTea team can be seen posing with our shipment which is the very first parcel they ever sent out. It took them six weeks to produce the six kilograms ordered, demonstrating just how small and artisanal their operations are.
SereneTea were setup recently by two Sri Lankan locals Shiromi and Kithsiri, who stepped back from their successful professional careers in law and engineering to setup a tea garden and small production facility to give back to the local area and people.

Sourced: Direct from the farmers Shiromi and Kithsiri

Brewing Advice:
- Heat water to roughly 95°C/203°F
- Use 2 teaspoons per cup/small teapot
- Brew for 3-4 minutes
