A highly floral and smooth Darjeeling possessing malty hints coupled with a brilliant muscatel finish.
Grown at a very high elevation from clonal bushes first planted in 1985 which take up to 15 years to reach maturity at such a high elevation.
The tea has been named 'Wonder Muscatel Gold' by Gopaldhara to signify it is the highest quality 'Wonder Muscatel' tea they produced this flush.
Sourced direct from Gopaldhara tea estate in Darjeeling, located in Mirik Valley and one of the highest tea estates in Darjeeling with gardens totalling 320 hectares.
